Harsh words? You bet.
True words? Yep.
The funny thing about overnight success or rags-to-riches stories is that they’re mostly myths.
They never acknowledge the hard work, dedication, and sacrifice that went into making something worthwhile happen.
That said, sometimes luck does break your way and you get a windfall in your lap. Sometimes you get what you didn’t earn. If that happens- enjoy it and be grateful!
Just don’t confuse Luck and privilege for strategy and skill.
For the rest of us, it’s time to get working.
Dreams don’t come easy or cheap.
That’s what makes the pursuit of them so great!
